Medicare Supplements Can Be A Better Choice

Medicare Supplements (a.k.a Medi-Gap plans), are still a better choice for many people joining Medicare because they offer a better choice of providers. Whether it is a primary doctor, a specialist, or a hospital, your client can go to any doctor anywhere in the country, without a referral. 

Here is why it is a great choice for you as an agent; No certification or national tests required like there are for MAPDs. You can write any carrier supplement with your normal Life license and can enjoy lifetime renewals along with commission increases for a lifetime due to rate increases! The only client calls you may receive would be about the Part D plan which must be bought separately for medication needs. The Part D rates can increase, the formulary can change, or there could be a change in pharmacies.

How about when a Medicare Supplement gets too expensive?

Or, when a client is comfortable with a high deductible because they come with low premiums? Good News is that one Carrier, (who sold the first Supplement in America) has a high deductible Plan G, the most comprehensive supplement plan on the planet, with a premium so low it will make you look twice.
