Do You Have Some Doubts?

This isn’t about you and your ability for success.

This is about you asking this question that Greg and I have encouraged you to ask your clients, friends, and family almost at any occasion.  People need to think about this question and how important it can be because life goes on and all of a sudden…

“Are you 100% certain you are going to have a great retirement, or do you have some doubts?”

Just try to find a person without some doubts about retirement. They really don’t exist. Some say they have no doubts about their retirement, but have they read the fine print? Not a chance! They’re only talking about growth and forgetting about other factors like inflation.

Inflation MUST be Considered

Inflation is the biggest killer of retirement. The last three decades inflation ran about 3% each year. It’s incredible that we don’t give inflation its due attention, for all the hand wringing we do to stretch our money in other ways. You save $5,000 a year for 30 years at 7% (that’s what your stock broker may tell you on average), and you end up with $500k. Not bad. Really? In today’s dollars that’s only about $200k. Make sure your clients have a structured plan to combat these retirement killers. Put truth about inflation in the planning as well.

Living in Debt in Retirement. Don’t!

Stressful, anxiety and sleepless nights. Many Americans carry negative debt throughout their entire retirement and the interest from this unsupported debt eats away at precious dollars that could have assured a great retirement. We can help you help your clients restructure and eliminate debt in under 9 years, WITHOUT spending any additional money. Ask us how!
